Types of Braces

Metal Braces

colorMetal braces are made of high-quality, durable stainless steel. They are the most common type of braces. The brackets, which are bonded to the front of each tooth, are connected by the archwire, which helps guide the teeth into the correct positions. Today's metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more attractive.

ClearCorrect™

colorClearCorrect is the clear, simple way to straighten your teeth without using traditional metal braces. ClearCorrect invisible braces allow you to show off your outstanding smile all throughout your treatment!

The aligners are custom-made, removable and clear, which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing. You can still eat and drink whatever you want, and you can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth.

Clarity™

colorClarity braces feature a comfortable design with a translucent appearance. Many patients enjoy the combination of ceramic and metal because it is simultaneously attractive and sturdy. Also, because they have a semi-transparent color that will not stain, patients can proceed with necessary orthodontic treatment without having to feel self-conscious. In addition, Clarity braces’ smooth, rounded shape allows for greater patient comfort. These features are designed for patients regardless of age.

Lingual Braces

lingualLingual braces are placed behind the upper and/or lower teeth, creating a more aesthetically pleasing effect. Because the brackets and archwire are actually placed at the back of your teeth, they are virtually undetectable, allowing you to retain your normal appearance for the duration of your treatment.

Your doctor took courses specializing in the placement of these braces. They are custom made for your maxillofacial structure. While some patients note problems with speech initially, such problems generally disappear within a few weeks and with practice.
